The people currently running the US government are pure EVIL.

U.S. Congress is complicit.

Where is the rule of law? What happened to the oaths to uphold the U.S. Constitution? Where's the "checks" and "balance"?

If I'm not mistaken, Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia, and before China, then USA.

It makes more sense to make the USA a province of Canada, not the other way around with statehood. Not that they would want it.

It was such a stupid idea to begin with.

The striking thing about Vance’s speech was its deep hostility to the entire academic enterprise, not just the so-called woke parts. He wasn’t talking about making more room for right-wing ideas in universities or even dreaming of taking them over. He wanted to destroy it all.

The New York Times · Opinion | Trump Wants to Destroy All Academia, Not Just the Woke PartsBy Michelle Goldberg

Whereas Poilievre previously seemed to represent a challenge to a status quo that has failed so many Canadians, voters may be now looking at him with suspicion by way of lumping him together with Trump. It’s not hard for Poilievre’s opponents to offer a nudge, maybe with lips pursed, as they face voters and ask “Really? This guy? Doesn’t he remind you, well, of . . . you know who?”
