the only MNT Pocket Reform with raw aluminum parts in existence. we confirmed the fit of the machined parts, everything is fine, production greenlit
also all details of all PCBs are sorted out. now i'll mainly have to focus on software polishing, manual, and box (we'll keep it simple though)—besides finishing purchasing some other parts like wifi antennas and SSDs (the latter i have samples from 2 companies incoming and if they work well i just buy a big amount).
@mntmn Hmm. Can you fight someone off with it without interrupting the kernel compile?
@mntmn Damn that machine looks sexy AF...
@mntmn congratulations! fingers crossed for a safe delivery!
@mntmn That machine looks fantastic. Congratulations!
@mntmn This is so cool - love that color!
I am looking forward to getting one for teaching at @chaospott - we're growing a bunch of hardware hackers in our secret basement lab.
@mntmn I could really use one of those for when I want to screw around with Linux and do a little programming on the go.
May I ask about the unconvential keyboard-layout?
@mntmn Thick boy! Looks awesome!

@mntmn my dad always said「德國工藝,百年不壞」(German craftsmanship will last hundred years.)
@mntmn Bare aluminum as an option for existing orders?
@murph no, too late for that. maybe we can do a small run of parts like this later
@mntmn C'est la vie. I doubt that I'd take it apart just for the look, but I had to ask :)
@mntmn Still looking forward to an awesome little machine. Keep up the good work!
@mntmn I could imagine that brass looks pretty
@mntmn I'm salivating. What a beauty
