So, that book isn't so much a revelation about and but more so a testament about a system that people voluntary participate in to earn $whatever, exploit themselves and let others exploit them, the sheer opposite of community and solidarity.

And sure, also a portrait of ultra rich motherfuckers that are bored as f*ck and cannot be bothered to the least bit of empathy to anyone but themselves.

Disgusting (not the book, it's ok, kinda shallow eventually).
