(?) seems to have joined the scraping party, so I've set up an hourly script to monitor my log files and rotate them. My Kiwix log had gotten up to 6.8GB; most of that in the last week or so. They're using very little bandwidth, 100 kB/s or less at any given time, and they seem to be rotating IP addresses, so I'm not sure whether it's scraping/indexing or them actively using my mirror in search results or something.

A script I wrote to check if a log file is bigger than 1000 MB, and if so, stop the service, rename it, create a new log file, set permissions then restart the service.

Imagine my horror when I get a notification from my SFBA.social instance that someone wants to follow me from #TruthSocial, i.e. Trump's #SocialMedia platform. Thank you @seb and everyone one the #SFBA @moderators team for this heads up! I understand that it's ultimately my decision, but of course I would never say "yes" to a backdoor from that insane, hellish place called Truth Social, anymore than I would from to X. In fact, I've also deleted my #Facebook and #Instagram accounts.

I don't feel compelled to "save space" on those completely demented platforms. It's bad for my mental health. Plus, after years of managing pages and groups there, I've also found that they're also totally corrupt.

I honestly think that these other platforms are beyond reform, conversion, or saving. It's just a total shit show.
