Cleaned up the title screen, now to work on actual gameplay some more. :P
Delighted to see 'Short Circus' on The Meteoriks Watchlist (https://www.pouet.net/lists.php?which=311)
It was a bit rough at the edges but there are some neat tricks in there, and I believe it's the first anaglyph demo on #TIC80 [released at @deadline_demoparty 2024]
I certainly ploughed time and love in, and Decca made a beautiful circus font for it.
Thanks @dojoe & co. for listing
Any #TIC80 user who can tell me how to play a note longer?! I probably need to watch another tutorial or find the right docu. But if you know the answer help would be awesome.
Yes there is a speed option but that changes the whole tempo of the entire song.

These artists are making tiny ROMs that will probably outlive us all
I think a found a new favourite fantasy console computer thingy. I like PICO-8 and TIC-80 deeply, but there’s something in Unx’s minimalism that stands out.

Work continues on the #TIC80 demo for #Revision2025's Fantasy Console competition. *So much* snagging needs to happen today!
The engine behind it has a few genuinely novel techniques - certainly new to TIC, and I really want to showcase those well... I'm feeling excited but pressured!

I didn't know you could type into the #TIC80 console while the boot-up sequence was still in progress, guess I was a little quick on the draw there
Anyway, I have the day off work and have decided to set it aside to do some more work on #PrismWarriors
Made substantial progress on my rpg project in #tic80 today! Started with just a system for animating through sprite frames. Now I have Character objects, an Input -> Action system, and a World/Camera positioning setup.
Making larger (and animated) food sprites.
Can set up the notes for a little song, and each note (at the moment) corresponds to a food item, then the challenge is collecting the items.
Right now it's not challenging but I can keep adjusting it. ;P
Sneaking in a little game development during office hours.
This Monday we're having a mixed jam with @Violet , from 20:00 BST. #tic80 and #glsl #livecoding from the #demoscene, come and join the chat or get in touch if you'd like to play! https://twitch.tv/FieldFxDemo
Been tinkering with #tic80 making a gameboy-esque RPG. You can follow the progress on codeberg or github, it's in the RPG folder
Listening, once again, to the amazing livecoded @samaaron music + @FieldFX ByteJam session.
Absolutely stunning - one of my absolute favourites!

Not much now, but maybe it will be a rhythm game about driving for a Door Dash type thing??? IDK.
Done for today though, going to hang out with kitties!!
